VIRTUAL PRENATAL SERVICES CARE BY TELEHEALTH
Virtual prenatal care allows you to interact directly with your healthcare provider one-to-one, and by YOUR CHOICE of either a phone call or video interaction on your smartphone, tablet, laptop or desktop device. During your visit you will be assessed for all of your pregnancy concerns using tools and equipment that we will provide to you according to your weeks of pregnancy.
Along with additional opportunities for questions and information exchange through email and text messaging, this personalized experience makes sure that your team of providers focus completely on you and your baby’s health and are directly accessible and responsive to you whenever needed.
Whenever a physical exam, cervical check or high risk consultation is necessary you will be seen in person at the office or referred to one of our collaborating physicians offices for evaluation. All necessary labs and ultrasounds are referred out to our collaborating partners and are conducted at their remote locations as per your prenatal care schedule. All patients receive a 24 hour cell phone number to reach their provider for any urgent concerns or labor support.
LABOR & DELIVERY SERVICES WITH HOSPITAL OB DOCTORS
For your labor and delivery needs we are proud to offer YOUR CHOICE of delivery hospital with our collaborating providers. Winnie Palmer Hospital and Advent Health Hospitals support our Easy Access Clinic practice with hospitalist OB doctors and Nurse Midwives available 24 hours to serve you.
During your pregnancy you will choose which hospital site you would like to deliver your baby and we will make the arrangements directly on your behalf. Your medical records will be transferred and your Easy Access staff will liaise with hospital staff until you are discharged and returned back to our care. Our Easy Access Clinic midwives do not deliver at the hospital but provide outpatient care only.
LABOR & DELIVERY SERVICES AT OUR NATURAL BIRTHING CENTER WITH MIDWIVES
We combine onsite and virtual prenatal care which allows you to interact directly with your healthcare provider one-to-one, and by YOUR CHOICE of either a phone call or video interaction on your smartphone, tablet, laptop or desktop device. During your telehealth visits you will be assessed for all of your pregnancy concerns using tools and equipment that we will provide to you according to your weeks of pregnancy.
If you would like an out-of-hospital birth experience we offer natural birth and water birth options at our birthing center, “The Birth Place”, in Winter Garden. Our midwives provide a 24 hour service for low-risk clients who prefer unmedicated, active birth in a short-stay/ same day discharge, home-like facility. There is a non-refundable $250 Birth Center Administration Fee which is not covered by insurance or Medicaid and is due at the time of the first prenatal visit for birth center services. VIRTUAL POSTPARTUM CARE SERVICES BY TELEHEALTH
Virtual postpartum care allows you to interact directly with your healthcare provider one-to-one, and by YOUR CHOICE of either a phone call or video interaction on your smartphone, tablet, laptop or desktop device. After discharge from the hospital, you may set a telehealth appointment during which you will be assessed for all of your early postpartum concerns for yourself and your baby.
Along with additional opportunities for questions and information exchange through email and text messaging, this personalized experience makes sure that your team of providers focus completely on you and your baby’s health and are directly accessible and responsive to you whenever needed.
Breastfeeding support and emotional support is also available virtually throughout the postpartum period. Your six week postpartum exam may be conducted virtually or in person as determined by need. All patients receive a 24 hour cell phone number to reach their provider for any urgent concerns or postpartum support. VIRTUAL WOMEN’S HEALTH CARE SERVICES BY TELEHEALTH
Virtual women’s healthcare allows you to interact directly with your healthcare provider one-to-one, and by YOUR CHOICE of either a phone call or video interaction on your smartphone, tablet, laptop or desktop device. During your telehealth consultation appointment your gynecology health concerns will be discussed and a determination will be made if an in person visit will also be needed.
The virtual visit will include lab test orders for blood work, orders for sexually transmitted infection screening, orders for pelvic ultrasounds, family planning counseling and birth control prescriptions as needed. Along with additional opportunities for questions and information exchange through email and text messaging, this personalized experience makes sure that your team of providers focus completely on you and your GYN health and are directly accessible and responsive to you whenever needed. We recommend a Pap smear every three to five years over the age of 21.
